Education Team
Appleseed’s Education Team works with the tutoring service Yanyue Class to foster a positive learning environment for children, assisting them in their studies as they prepare for state exams and the SHSAT. With our team of trained tutors, we aim to boost the academic confidence of elementary and middle schoolers.
Supportive
Appleseed’s Education Team creates an encouraging space where high school volunteers serve as both tutors and mentors. Younger students receive consistent academic help alongside emotional encouragement from relatable role models.
Empowering
By equipping students with problem-solving tools and critical thinking skills, our tutors foster independence and growth both in and out of the classroom.
Year-Round Support
Appleseed’s Education Team volunteers with Yanyue Class year-round. From after-school tutoring to summer school support, our volunteers guide students through homework and serve as teacher assistants during standardized test preparation.
